eService, the technological leader among Polish acquirers, which has also been operating in other Central and Eastern Europe countries since 2014, has been awarded the prestigious title of the Business Cheetah (Gepard Biznesu) this year.
This title was awarded to the Company by the Modern Business Institute (Instytut Nowoczesnego Biznesu) and the Entrepreneurs' Magazine ‘Europejska Firma’ (’European Company’). Since 2006, they have been doing research on the financial condition of Polish enterprises according to various indicators. The information for the analysis is provided by the Commercial Information Agency Infocredit that collects data from the National Court Register.
This year, the Commercial Information Agency has selected enterprises that reported at least half a million PLN in revenue, net profit and a positive capital value each year from 2011 to 2012. eService placed itself among these enterprises, thus gaining another title for its achievements and contribution to the development of the Polish business.
For many years, eServices has been constantly developing and implementing new ideas to the acquiring market. The Company’s share in the Polish market of card transactions amounts to nearly 40 per cent. With more than half a billion electronic transactions processed in 2013, eService is among the top acquirers in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2014, the Company started its operations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
