eService, the technological leader among Polish acquirers has once again been honoured during the 9th Congress on the Electronic Commerce and received the "Partner of the Year" prize.
The prestigious prize "Partner of the Year 2013" was awarded to the Company for its activities in creating new projects that promote the sector of electronic commerce in Poland. It is the second award of this kind in the history of eService – the Company had already been awarded this prize before, in 2009.
The Company’s success is a consequence of numerous innovative projects and the use of the latest technologies. For many years, eServices has been constantly developing and implementing new ideas to the acquiring market. The Company’s share in the Polish card transaction market amounts to more than 37 per cent. With more than half a billion electronic transactions processed in 2013, eService is among the top acquirers in Central and Eastern Europe. The ICT potential as well as the Company’s own department of Research and Development allow the Company to implement such innovative products as IKO mobile payments or develop eCommerce products that meet the highest technological standards.
The Congress on Electronic Commerce is a meeting attended by representatives of public and local government administration, financial and scientific sectors, as well as many economic organisations, scientific and technological associations and companies that can influence the construction and development of modern electronic commerce in Poland. The basic purpose of this year’s Congress was to find the common denominator of all the phenomena that appear in the debate over the digitalisation issues in Poland.
