The leader of the Polish market of payment card acceptance - eService, launches the "I Pay I Help" campaign, whose aim is to facilitate entrepreneurs' involvement in fundraising for Ukraine. Using proprietary software developed for Tetra series state-of-the-art payment terminals, the company has created a functionality that enables quick donations with everyday card transactions. Donations made using eService terminals will be transferred in full and without intermediaries to the accounts of selected - proven and reliable - charities.
"I Pay I Help" is one of several activities with which we support aid to Ukraine. This is our way of sharing an easy-to-use tool with which you can help both as an entrepreneur who wishes to make a legitimate fundraising available and as a person who would like to make a donation. Its versatility makes it possible for even the smallest entrepreneurs to fundraise - in local stores, service outlets or beauty parlours. eService payment terminals and formal solutions developed to guarantee fast and cost-free transfer of 100 percent of collected funds become a link between the entrepreneurs and charity organizations - explains Joanna Seklecka, CEO of eService.
The campaign prepared by eService is addressed to entrepreneurs - stores, service companies, restaurants, hotels and institutions, which use payment terminals and through them want to support the collection of funds to help Ukraine. Thanks to state-of-the-art Tetra series terminals, software developed by eService experts and agreements concluded with selected public benefit organizations, a ready-to-use solution was developed that enables easy transfer of donations collected while making card transactions.
After completing a standard payment (for purchases or services), an additional message will appear on the screen of the payment terminal participating in the "I Pay I Help" campaign informing the customer about the possibility of making a donation of PLN 5, 10 or 20 to a selected charity. All you need to do is select the appropriate amount and, just like with a standard payment transaction, make a card payment. You can also donate separately by selecting the appropriate function from the terminal menu.
A huge advantage of the eService solution is the speed of donations, which will go directly into the account of the relevant organization and will be ready for use without delay. Moreover, the user of the terminal, while intermediating in fundraising, is not even for a moment in possession of the donated funds and does not have to worry about additional tax liabilities associated with it.
Entrepreneurs who decide to join the campaign and provide their customers with the opportunity to make a donation can choose one of the organizations to which the collected funds will be transferred. The following are available now: SOS Children's Villages and the Polish Red Cross, with which eService has already entered into relevant agreements. Polish Humanitarian Action and other organizations with which talks are underway will soon be added to the list.
Thanks to the cooperation of eService and the Cashless Poland Foundation, the use of the functionality of fundraising for Ukraine will be completely free of charge, and the funds transferred will go entirely to the accounts of charity organizations.
Deployment of "I Pay I Help" is possible thanks to an innovative application developed by eService experts, which runs on a series of Tetra payment terminals that enable transfer of payments from a terminal to separate accounts. This solution may find many applications also in commerce and business, serving for example to accept payments for various services - e.g. for accommodation, food, swimming pool, spa or services of cooperating subcontractors. In the first phase, the new functionality will be available for terminals that are not integrated with POS systems.
