eService, the leader of the Polish payment card acceptance market and the largest settlement agent in Central and Eastern Europe, has started its operations in Slovenia. The first customer on the new market is Porsche Slovenija, which will use the e-commerce and m-commerce services provided by eService. They will provide electronic payment services for their electric car charging solution MOON charge. The services selected by Porsche Slovenija are part of a comprehensive solution created with a technology partner - a charging equipment supplier with whom eService has been cooperating for years in Poland and other European markets.
The launch of eService in Slovenia means that Poland's largest settlement agent is already active in 12 European markets where it operates under its own brand and the brands belonging to the EVO Payments Group, of which it is a part.
The consistent growth of our overseas business is due to our continuous investment in IT infrastructure, innovative technologies and the highest competence of our employees. As a result, we are able to create and quickly implement comprehensive payment solutions, and then make them available on attractive terms to customers and business partners throughout Europe. Another important factor in eService's successes is the cooperation within the EVO Group and the international experience we have been gaining since we entered our first foreign markets in 2014," says Piotr Wiśniewski Strategic Client Development Office Director CEE in eService.
The solutions provided by eService will provide Porsche charging station users with convenient and secure settlements for the energy consumed. Payments will be made using the mobile application and the payment cards stored in it – Visa, Mastercard, or electronic payment wallets - Apple Pay or G Pay (Google Pay).
When observing the changes taking place in the market and the growing expectations of customers in terms of convenience for our MOON charge users when charging their electric cars, we have been looking for a solution that provides the quality expected by customers and at the same time that can be quickly and easily applied to operate with our charging service. The services proposed by eService meet these conditions and do not require the issuance of special charging cards or the installation of payment terminals to handle bank cards. Any customer can pay for charging through a user-friendly and easy-to-use app or web gateway, says Dušan Lukič, New Mobility Project Leader at Porsche Slovenia.
Porsche Slovenija already operates more than 160 charging stations on the Slovenian market, of which more than 50 are DC fast charging stations. The target number of all Porsche Slovenija operated charging stations in Slovenia is to exceed 200 by the end of 2023. Their MOON charge EV charging service is used by hundreds of EV users in Slovenia.
